Let's Talk Aesthetic

Everyone has a unique spirit and soul.
A personal aesthetic.
My eye goes immediately to texture,
specific cultural references and
particular color hues.
I have to stop, investigate, take a picture,
tear, print or book mark.

I am inspired to create furniture and accessories
for the home, that feel artful that have a heart.
I am drawn to the objects that reveal the importance behind the art
and that have a useful purpose and significance.

Developing an aesthetic, your personal style,
happens whether you notice it or not..
If you tune in, all of a sudden your eye acts
like a magnet to your interests.
If you stay there long enough you will see a glimmer
of what attracted you to it.
An edge, a color, a shape.... 
From here it just gets deeper and more fine tuned.
Take the time, breath, stay connected.
