Sneak Peak

I have sequestered myself in the studio for the last couple of weeks.  After concentrating on the "Elements" collection for Andi-Le Tableware for the last couple months, it feels great to be back in the shop getting down and dirty.

Twelve textures were perfected for client customization for the furniture line. Three different groups,  featuring four different textures each, create unlimited combinations for every piece. The line will consist of dining and cocktail tail tables, consoles and benches. The placement of the various textures and  finishes are selected  by the client. Below is a sneak peak of textures from each group.

The prototypes for the Andi-Le Furniture line are close to completion.  So stay tuned.

NO MORE BORING NAPKINS! Please.

If anyone would have told me I would be excited by napkin folding,There would be a huge eye roll, followed  by, an absolute..."not me".   Well, never say never. And here I am, excited by napkin folding. Who knew?? Don't take your napkins for granted! Make them a special accent for any occasion. It surely won't go unnoticed.

David Stark's Napkins with a Twist is a great book to inspire your tabletop. There are also many online sites to get you started.

The napkins in the new Andi-Le "Elements" Collection are perfect for creative folding ideas. The designs can change with every fold, so you have unlimited napkins in one. Below, is the first of many napkin folding ideas to come.

Welcome to Andi-Le This is my first blog post.

As an artist/sculptor/designer, living in aspen, Colorado, one of the most beautiful places in the world, I want to share my love and passions for the arts, food, entertaining, horses and (yes) power tools.

I design as well as build furniture. My new line “Andi-le  Furniture” and“Andi-le Tableware” will be launching this year 2011.

Living in Aspen, CO for 18+ years has given me entrance to  amazing lifestyle and experiences…from nature, to culture, to over-the-top entertaining and outrageous individuals.  Athletes, philanthropists, artists and people who live with passion, have impacted my world and continue to be a source of admiration and inspiration.

There will be lots of introductions to products, art and ideas, mine, as well as people I respect and love.

Follow me in this blog on my quest to create objects and to pass on, ideas, inspirations and things that rock my boat…. in hope that it will inspire you to "Live Creatively".
